Zato ga toliko i volimo.

    • Posehn & Duggan's Deadpool is hilarious. It's the funniest Deadpool since Joe Kelly's, and brings some much needed insanity and creative violence to a character that has started to feel incredibly overused and lame in recent years. Even the fart jokes and sex puns made me laugh, because the duo write them with such overt joy that they come across very self-aware.Each storyline is equally absurd: in the first half of the book, Deadpool fights the resurrected corpses of every U.S. president in [...]

    • I'm one of those people who first became aware of Deadpool's existence via the Internet. I looked into him and he piqued my interest. I decided to start with this collection of Deadpool comics by the hilarious Brian Posehn. Needless to say, I LOVED this book. Deadpool is hilarious and the story is very well written. I definitely recommend this book as a starting off point for people who want to explore Deadpool.

    • I've read a lot of Deadpool #1's and this is probably the weakest. The best story in the book is the "flashback," told with style, authority, and spot-on attention to detail. The main stories are a little weaker for a variety of reasons. It becomes pretty clear that the authors did not really know what to do when they insisted that ALL the presidents were resurrected. So presidents that could only be killed by electricity can also be killed by a particular magic sword and also by gunfire toward [...]

    • Really funny and entertaining, easy for the Deadpool newcomers, as I have never read any of his solo stories. The drawings are awesome, the jokes click with me, I also really liked the other characters besides Wade. My biggest complaint would be that team-up with the Spiderman, as it was Superior Spiderman, not the regular one, so he wasn't as funny as usual, and you'd have to know what happened to him to get most of the jokes in that part. But maybe it's just me, as I was very hyped for that te [...]

    • The art is great and the jokes are mostly great. However there are no real stakes, and the story jumps from one place to another in seconds. It's creative and colorful but since it's crazy and senseless almost all the time, you don't really expect anything and so nothing will surprise you. I think the story became more involving near the end since one particular side character were fleshed out more. That's the big problem I have with this - the jokes and quickly changing situations don't leave r [...]

    • Having been a fan of Deadpool for several years I was a bit hesitant when my current love for comics was awakened a long way back and upon looking to explore such an untapped world (for me at least) I found Deadpool was to be written by a comedian, a funny one, but still a stand-up comedian writing comics?! I could not be more happy to be so wrong. Posehn and Duggan know how to make DP funny as all hell and yet add some much needed emotional depth to the Merc with the Mouth. The art is crisp, th [...]

    • I absolutely love Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan controlling the mind of the Merc. 5 star work here. #InWadeWeTrust

    • Zombie Presidents, the ghost of Benjamin Franklin, and Satan. Of course, these things would be in a Deadpool comic. It's a fun read while I wait for Deadpool 2.

    • I didn't know a whole lot about Deadpool before reading this, apart from internet references and a glimpse at the new movie trailer. I guessed he was some kind of sassy version of Spiderman, and it turns out that isn't too far from the truth. I found this collection interesting although sometimes the gore was a little too over-the-top and the jokes were trying just that bit too hard, but I'm thinking that both of those things are just Deadpool trademarks and I just don't know enough to be in on [...]

    • Deliriously, hysterically, insanely amazing. The best Deadpool comic I have yet read.Filled with gleefully groanful bad jokes, an abundance of pop culture references, grotesquely glorious gore, exquisite atypical Deadpool meta humour (demolishing the fourth wall with regards to everything from DC, to Tumblr, to the sounds of his own onomatopoeia), and a smorgasbord of exceptionally excellent and excrutiating puns ("Tooth-hurty!").So many of the most hilarious panels of DP awesomeness I've seen on [...]

    • Deadpool has been my favorite comic character for quite a long time, I think I discovered him in a random issue of X-Force I picked up in the mid 90's where our favorite Merc with a Mouth was stalking Siryn. Ever since then I've tried to buy all of the books he was in. For me, highpoints in his various runs include Joe Kelly and Gail Simone, but some other writers simply don't "get" the character outside of the jokes and it seems hollow. Duggan and Posehn seem to actually understand what makes D [...]

    • My first time reading Deadpool, and it seems I chose a good starting point. The jokes are on-point throughout, and it has a good mix of different types of humour, rather than overdoing it (very easy to do with referential comedy). The plot is ridiculous, but that's kinda the point, and Posehn & Duggan embrace it so wholeheartedly that one can't help but enjoy it.

    • Really fun and ridiculous, with a couple of moments of awwwww deadpool. The writers do a good job *most of the time* with making him a loveable rogue. Too often, Deadpool is used as an excuse for writers to make shitty jokes, but in this one, he's funny without being horribly offensive at every moment. Also, there were several parts that made me laugh out loud.

    • So glad this is over. With the many harrowing adventures of the Merc with a Mouth, this very long graphic novel became tedious to muddle through. Maybe Deadpool isn't my thing but maybe it's just how the new author pieced this volume together. I'm sticking with the latter because Deadpool is a pretty groovy guy.

    • I really enjoyed this storyline. The battle against the resurrected spirits of all the presidents is a battle that only Deadpool can fight in and still feel totally comfortable.Violent, funny, you know him, you love him Deadpool.

    • HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Absolutely hilarious. This is the first of any Deadpool comics I've ever read, and I absolutely love the writers' take on the character. Enough humor and enough action to always keep you wanting to read more. So so good.

    • While the Presidents plot ran thin pretty quick, the rest of this volume was fun, filled with great "team ups" (as Deadpool would call them), especially the Spider-Man bit. Will definitely be reading the next set.

    • Deadpool and US Presidents makes the history nerd in me very very happy."The second shot came from inside the c--aaaargh!""I knew it! Jackie Kennedy was the second shooter!"

    • Story was good but it was a shame that they felt that Deadpool had to say a joke at every opportunity. It started to feel very diluted very quick.
