    • 3 starsSnowbound with Mr.Wrong was an okay second chance read. The storyline held my interest, I found myself turning the pages until the end, but something was missing.Makes me sad to say this, while I enjoyed the storyline, I failed to form a connection with the characters, especially Nick. Not sure what it was exactly but I just didn't feel him and he left me wondering how deep his love truly was for Lyssa. (pls don't let this deter you from reading this book, I'm just being honest on how I fe [...]

    • 2.5 starsI was interested with the blurb for this one because I am a sucker for the one who got away theme. Plus it is a holiday book. Unfortunately, this book failed to made me believe in the couple or to root for them to get back together. The story didn't immediately told readers about the reason why Lyssa and Nick didn't work. However, after a while, I could conclude that it was because they were too different. Apparently Lyssa loved her small-town, her family, her traditions, while Nick car [...]

    • Who's in the mood for a second chance holiday romance?!? Lyssa is already having a bad day, the elf suit seems much tighter than it was last year when. she's not thinking of then. Then it gets worse when she hears Santa's voice, it can't be! but you know it isNick the man she met and fell for last Christmas only to end the relationship 6 months ago. Neither was expecting to see the other, no matter how much they couldn't get each other out of their heads. But it's Christmas and stranded in the h [...]

    • Lyssa has still not gotten over her ex . While playing a elf at a christmas party, she gets a shock when Santa walks in. Its none other than her Nick her ex. Nick is shocked to see Lyssa too. He wasn't expecting it when Lyssa ended the relationship. He thought the relationship was going well.Lyssa and Nick are two very different people, with very different values. I did wonder if they were too different to make it work. After the party has ended, Lyssa starts to drive down the mountain with Nick [...]

    • There’s nothing quite as satisfying as a feel-good romance when you’re cuddled up with a warm blanket, a roaring fire, and a hot cup of tea.Ms. Daille gives us this with Snowbound with Mr. Wrong. When Lyssa Barnett meets up with old flame, Nick Tavlock, and they end up stranded in an isolated lodge with three adorable children, sparks ensue!Lyssa was hurt by Nick’s obsession with the business world and gave up on their relationship rather than beating her head against Nick’s admittedly se [...]

    • •CompromiseAfter reading SNOWBOUND WITH MR. WRONG, it reminds me of what too many people forget about all year, especially this time of year. Showing you care comes from the heart and any relationship whether it's a love relationship, family, friends, or even co-workers it's always a compromise. This was a GREAT heartfelt holiday story that makes you smile. It was my first Barbara White Daille story, but I want to see what her other stories entail. Lyssa is coerced into being Miss Elf again th [...]

    • ‘Tis the season for holiday romances and when I heard Barbara White Daille wrote a contemporary holiday romance, I jumped at the chance to read it. Thank you to Netgalley and Entangled Bliss for offering me an ARC in the hopes I’d review it.Lyssa agreed to reprise her role as Elf on the promise that Nick didn’t play Santa. So, when Santa makes his big arrival (and it turns out to be Nick, the only man who’s ever broken her heart), Lyssa wants to flee. But Amber has a sick child and needs [...]

    • This is not a story that really grabbed me it was a cute sweet read. It starts out really good but is just missing something. Two people who have dated in the past end up being Santa and his elf neither wanted to see each other and are very surprised to see the other one. As they go to leave due to the snow that is coming Nick gets hurt which puts Lyssa trying to take care of him, the kids that need to go home to their parents, putting away all the party food, and get back off the mountain befor [...]

    • Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.I love Christmas books and movies, so when I saw a Christmas book that was also a second chance romance, I couldn't wait to read it. Lyssa finds herself talked into playing Elf at the annual Christmas party where she soon finds herself face to face with her ex, Nick. Lyssa isn't quite over Nick but keeps reminding herself as to all the reasons it wouldn't work out. Nick thought he wouldn't have to see Lyssa again after she blindsided [...]

    • I'm a sucker for anything Christmas and wanted to read this book to get more into the spirit. Nick and Alyssa dated in the past but split up when they realized they have different values. They are reunited a few months later at a Christmas function at a snow lodge. A storm hits and they get snowed in. With the way this was set up I was expecting a romantic Christmas story. What I got was way different. I didn't feel the connection with Nick and Alyssa. I also had a hard time connecting with the [...]

    • This was a cute fun story that left me with a huge smile on my face. Unwittingly exes Lyssa Barnett and Nick Tavlock are set up to meet again at the Snowflake Valley's Christmas party. The very place they met a year ago. After dating for 8 months Lyssa broke things off. It was clear they had very different viewpoints on what made life great. He's a workaholic and thinks money is the answer to a happy life. She's a small town girl who thinks family and community are what really matters in life. W [...]

    • ARC Review: Snowbound with Mr. Wrong (Snowflake Valley) by Barbara White DailleSnowbound with Mr. Wrong has all the right ingredients to heat things up. Take two clueless exes, add kids and an unexpected snowstorm for good measure and than wait for the sparks to begin. Things are about to get naughty this holiday season. Ms. Daille brings on the laughs with Nick and Lyssa. Lyssa is adorably frustrating, She has no clue how falling in love works. Nick is equally dense, but a temptation all the sa [...]

    • A story with the one that got away theme. I couldn't really into either character. I found that I wasn't at all rootng for the couple to get together, in fact I would've probably liked the story better if they had decided to just be friends. The kids in the story were unnecessary. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to bahhumbug this one :(*This is an arc review

    • Lyssa's sister asks her to help her out with a last-minute job. Lyssa has to dress up as an elf for a children's Christmas party. When she finds out who Santa is she's ready to bolt, but she doesn't want to let anyone down. She broke up with Nick and didn't expect to see him again, especially not while he's dressed in a Santa suit. Playing happy together for the sake of the children isn't easy. There are still so many unresolved feelings and Lyssa isn't sure how to handle them.Nick is a successf [...]

    • Lyssa and Nick. What's worse then having a bad day, a bad wardrobe and being obligated to do things you don't feel up to? Getting to do it with your ex that you are still not over. Nick and Lyssa have a passion, have chemistry but is that all? This story follows the couple as they are snowbound in the lodge with 3 kids from family friends. It follows how they made assumptions and judgments without discussing the truth. How she decided to end the relationship without forcing a look at the scenes be [...]

    • Fun storyLyssa and Nick had failed to communicate. Neither telling each other what was in their hearts. So when Amber set her sister up with Nick again, mother nature took over. Forced to entertain kids with no technology, showed them how to work together. Until sister Callie explains why Lyssa is the way she is. Time to negotiate for their HEA.

    • This is a cute, sweet holiday story. Though I felt the conflict was a bit on the manufactured, a good conversation between both H/h without jumping to conclusions would have solved most of their problems. For the case of the quick story it worked. Nice to read a new holiday tale.

    • Reviewed at Heart Full of ChristmasLyssa and Nick are right back where they started a year ago, the annual Christmas party at the Lodge. Only this time neither one wanted to be there, and they had no clue that the other would be in costume yet again, playing the same roles as before. On the surface Santa and Miss Elf went about their jolly duties, if a bit more abruptly than called for. Inside they each were angry, hurt and annoyed at having to face each other once again. To make matters worse t [...]

    • Snowbound with Mr. Wrong is such a sweet little book. a second chance romance that takes place over the holidays. Lyssa Barnett has been roped in by her sister to play Santa's little elf for the annual children's Christmas party. Except the Santa is her ex-boyfriend, Nick Tavlock; the man she still loves, but refuses to acknowledge her feelings for. Nick is just doing a favor for his friend, dressing up as Santa for the children's party. He never expected to come face to face with the woman who [...]

    • BlurbWorst. Day. Ever. After Lyssa Barnett’s sister tricks her into reprising her role at Snowflake Valley's annual children's party, she doesn’t think anything can be worse than squeezing into her too-small elf costume. Then tall, dark, and way too handsome Nick Tavlock shows up to play Santa…and an unexpected storm leaves them snowbound in the isolated lodge. The last thing Nick wants is to spend a cozy Christmas Eve with a trio of kids and the woman who dumped him. But as much as Lyssa f [...]

    • Nick and Lyssa agreed to do a favor for their friend and sister respectively and play Santa and Miss Elf again. Unfortunately, neither were warned the other would be there and considering they met at last year's Christmas party while playing the same roles, and haven't seen each other since they broke up a few months ago, things could get awkward. As the party is coming to a close, it's quickly apparent that the predicted snowstorm decided to arrive early and Nick's plane will not be taking off a [...]

    • 3.5 stars - Small town, second chance clean romance between two complete opposites mixed with a snowstorm stranded themeSnowbound with Mr Wrong by Barbara White Dallie was my first read by this author and overall I liked the book. Snowbound with Mr Wrong is a small town, second chance clean romance between two complete opposites mixed with a stranded in a snowstorm theme. Like I say, I enjoyed the book but it didn’t completely wow me and wasn’t at all what I expected. Nick and Lyssa, who tel [...]

    • I received this book via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.Nick and Lyssa have a past and are thrown together again at a Christmas party where he plays Santa and she plays the elf. But when a storm strands them with three children will they be able to be civil with each other or will being in close proximity spark the passion?I enjoyed this story. Lyssa and her small town, her values, her love of family and her comfort level with herself. But I didn’t like that she didn’t think that [...]

    • Snowbound with Mr. Wrong by Barbara White Daille is a short but fun Christmas story. Nick is a hard working, but money orientated man (according to Lyssa). He puts the job before everything; he doesn’t take holidays, and he certainly doesn’t want to be stuck in a small town. Coming from a wealthy but cold background, it’s the only life he knows. Nick shows his affections with lavish gifts and fancy restaurants, Lyssa is also a hard working character. She’s come from a family that helps e [...]

    • Snowbound with Mr. Wrong was the perfect Christmas read for the beginning of November to put me in the holiday spirit! This book was extremely cute and entertaining! Even though I believe in waiting till December to start prepping for Christmas/Chanukah, I was perfectly okay with reading this one a little early!I love cute little romances, especially ones that are under two hundred pages. I think they are the perfect way to escape for a little while and immerse yourself in someone else’s life. [...]

    • Lyssa & Nick were a couple until the night Alyssa fell asleep waiting for Nick to finish up a work call before they could head out for dinner. Lyssa can see Nick always putting work first & trying to buy his way out of trouble by taking her for fancy meals. She doesn't think she can be with someone like that & she ends the relationship. Fast forward several months to a holiday party that Lyssa's sister is putting on. Lyssa is tricked into playing an elf helping Santa. Nick has been r [...]

    • Stuck with your ex playing elf to his Santa is bad enough but when they end up snowed in together, total nightmare.Lyssa and Nick split up when it became apparent they wanted different things from life. Nick defines his life by his work successes and the money he makes. He was always pushing Lyssa to do more with her life. Lyssa values her friends, family and love and job satisfaction means something different to her. Being snowed in together forces them to talk and they may just realise that th [...]

    • Second Chance Romance plus it's a Christmas book, two of my favorite things! First off I want to say I loved the element of the kids being stranded with them! Those kids were very entertaining and kept the two main characters from arguing while stranded. I liked Nick a lot, but found Lyssa to be unlikeable initially. Once I got further into the story I understood her and Nick a lot better. I would have liked to have some of the back story up front. Mainly cause she kind of came off witchy at fir [...]
